This time of year everyone is holed up and snuggled in their beds right??? or some may be jumping on their beds with cabin fever?!
Were definitely doing both of these!!! I love to get back to basics in January and begin the new year with some quality neutrals. Last year I posted on how to get back to basics in the master bedroom and I am building on that this year. It’s hard to stop ourselves from wanting the pinterest worthy bedroom, but it’s hard to create it and buy it all at once. What’s best is to go slow and start with neutrals. Once you have your basics like a comfy mattress topper, good sheets, and a quality comforter and pillows. That’s when you can start shopping for your ideal duvet set. I purchased this one from Anthropologie last fall and I’m in love. Anthro never disappoints. It does great on it’s own with the textures and patterns, but I can add color to it for different seasons throughout the year. Personally I like a little touch of something snuggly and soft… and pottery barn made these gorgeous and super lux pillows and throws which I purchased to go with. I’m thinking about adding some texture to the walls behind our bed since we don’t have a headboard… I think it will be just the right touch in here. Trying to decide whether to go with white wood or natural wood? What do you think? Let me know in the comments please! I’d love some opinions and feedback:)
