For a long time now, I’ve been in the season of “BUSY MOMMY”… it’s hard to find time to even comb my hair let alone read a book, work out, or enjoy some quite time. Every mom is different and every mom knows their boundaries and limits, so for me, I knew it was time I took charge of my life a little and made some time for me. Not in a selfish way, but in a way that helps me be better for those around me.
I have always been an energetic and go getter type of person and I noticed myself feeling tired all the time… I kept trying to observe what contributed to this and no matter if I slept more or whatever I still felt exhausted. I heard all the professionals saying that exercise is what I needed to try, but I was like- WHAT ? How do I make time for that??? I don’t live in an area where I can just run to a gym and I found it hard to motivate myself and commit to time at home to work out so I kept putting it off.
I found this- The 7 Min. Workout App. I know it sounds super cheesy and like I’m promoting something but I haven’t been able to stop telling people about it! It’s that good!
It is an exercise program that you can do anytime anywhere because it only takes 7 min and you don’t need any equipment. It talks to you as you go so you feel like your working out with someone and being pushed a little. It is designed to be as efficient as possible in the time frame so when your done you really feel like you accomplished something.
I have always been an athletic person and to me when I hear of something like this I think its a joke, but as an athletic person who has been committed to this for three weeks now, I’m seeing results and more than anything I’m seeing energy. I noticed my energy go up on the very first day. which was exactly the encouragement I needed since that is what I was hoping for.
I do the workout in the morning before I start things and its become addicting like coffee, because I know how much better I’ll feel once I do it.
