When the sun sets on a summer field it stops me in my tracks.  Every night on our way home we role down the windows on the dirt road and the kids let the sunshine dance across their faces as we pass over the low water bridge, turn through the ole rusty gate, and drive by each neighbors homeplace. When we pull down our own lane I think to myself.. This is why I love to live here.  This is what the good life looks like.  I don’t ever want to forget these sun kissed fields.

I’ve been trying to savor every last drop of summer.  This month there’s a few things left still to do.  I’ve been dying to go to the drive-in for a date night! It’s on the bucket list and so was buying a beautiful dress;)

I love dresses. I love to feel feminine and I’d been looking for a dress with just the right delicate detail since forever!  This one stole my heart.  I’m sure I will wear it so much that I wear it out.  You can bet I’ll be wearing it on the next date night to the drive-in!!!
